Thinkpad T60 11a/b/g/n issues

Hello,

Does anyone know of any current issues facing the 11a/b/g/n wireless card?

Mine seems to be acting very dysfunction.

As an example, every time my computer wakes up from hibernation, I have to restart the computer in order for my wireless to start working again.

Also, sometimes when I connect to the internet through my VPN client, after 5 minutes my wireless will restart itself to cancel my VPN connection...

Also, it sometimes has trouble finding a connection, when my friends 4 year old ibm can quickly find her's. I do not find this acceptable at all.

I thought it was a vista problem so I switched to XP and have been having the same problem. I even tried access connections in hopes that this would somehow help with my wireless troubles. Alas, nothing good has come of it. Can anyone provide suggestions?

I called tech support and they told me the same thing. My T60p has the Antheros a/b/g/n card though. If you need instructions for it, let me know.

There are some known issues with several routers and the wireless chipset in the t60. It's really a router issue in some cases, especially with some of the NetGears.

Do you have the same problem with all wireless routers?

Mine was bizzare, the router would be working fine, with several people connected to it, and the moment the t60 turned on the router would crash and disconnect everyone! A firmware upgrade on the netgear fixed the problem.

My T60 also came with the Atheros N card.

I've had no problem since December 10, 2006 when I got it.
