How to resume T60 in Dock

Anyone know if it's possible to resume the T60 in the dock without using the Fn key - which means opening the lid if you run it closed in the Dock as I do. With my T40 I can just press the power button when it's docked and it springs back to life. I tried looking for some options in the Power Manager but.. no luck. Anyone know?

I presume you are using an external keyboard. Use the keyboard customizer utility to enable Fn- functions on your external keyboard. You can then resume by pressing Ctrl-Space (the default combo, you can change it in the keyboard customizer utility. This is available here: Start-->thinkvantage-->keyboard customizer utility)

Thanks for this.. I hadn't tried the keyboard customizer utility, but I don't see the option for the 'FN' key - it has Standby and Hibernate and such, but I can't seem to get these to work either to put the machine into Standby OR to wake it up...

I can send my machine to standby using Ctrl-F4... and can bring the machine back on by pressing the power button on the advanced mini dock. It works fine!

I believe you can set that in Windows Control Panel > Power Options > Advanced tab.

Nope, I guess there is something wrong here ... I can't get the machine out of standby even by pressing the 'FN' key on the machine's own keyboard. It's stuck in standby mode. Any ideas what is wrong?
