Hi, This is weird.... my laptop squeezes a good 3.5-4.5 hrs even with wifi on.... but the battery gauge is funny... i prefer reading hours left instead of battery percentage left so i've set it to display how many hrs are left on the battery but it just jumps so erratically....
one minute it says 4.30 hrs left next second its down to 3 hrs, then back to 4.....

its so hard to judge u kno....

my power settings are
CPU Speed : Adaptive
Fan Control : Maximise performance
Display : 3 of 7

any idea why its so shifty?

Directly from lenovo
Remaining time is calculated based on the current remaining capacity divided by the average current battery consumption (wattage). Depending on the current battery wattage consumption, remaining time calculated can change. For example, with the system running at the Maximum Performance setting for the processor, the system consumes more battery power, so the remaining time is shorter. A good analogy would be driving a car. When you drive faster, you use more gasoline; slower uses less. If you speed up and slow down frequently, it is more difficult to estimate how much driving time you have left.
It's continuously calculating, and jumps back and forth very often for me too. I find it normal and go by the above explanation.
