T61 and Santa Rosa Launch is Today?

for some reason, through accumulative reading on these forums and other resources, today is supposed to be the day, May 8th, 2007 that the T61P is supposed to be released with the Santa Rosa chipsets?
don't see any discussion going yet about it, and do not see any changes on the product configuration pages on lenovos site.
any word?

thats fine. they all indicated first week of may. 8th, 9th, what ever.
i just didn't see any discussions going on. so i started one
(im getting sick of this crappy HPZV6000 pavilion keyboard. my old (stolen) t60p was the hot knife slicing through butter. nothing ive owned touched it, including my previous AMD X2 4800 lappy (6lb powersupply, 13lb lappy.)

May 8th-9th is the release date for Intel's Santa Rosa, it does not necessarily mean T61 will be released with it. However, what I heard was last week of May for it's release.

9th for Santa Rosa from Intel. 14th/15th for the T61 - thats what I heard.

Is T61p going to be announced along with the T61 on the 14th/15th, or is it going to be a delayed launch? Also, does that mean sales will start on 14/15, or that the models will just be announced? Thanks!

AFAIK, T61p is coming out a bit later, around the first week of June.

The first batch of any new model is bound to have problems. Have you guys checked the GPU temperature thread in this forum lately? It seems that most of the high GPU temperature T60's were from last year.

I have heard that models with integrated graphics will be available first. Only later on will models with discrete graphics cards come out.

Anyone know if the x61's are going to the released on the same date or are they gonna be in july?
