I'm having some problems with the fingerprint software on my T60p. My laptop had undergone a domain change and my index finger was used to log into the old domain. The fingerprint was not deleted before the domain profile was deleted. I want to use the same index finger to log into my computer, but it is still tied with my old username and domain.

When I'm in the fingerprint software, there are no fingerprints enrolled so I there is nothing to delete. I've also deleted fingerprint information from the BIOS screen, but I think that only clears the power on fingerprint entries. If I ctrl-alt-del lock my computer which is now on the new domain and use my index to login, the succeeded box comes up, but windows states that the computer is locked.

How do I delete the windows login fingerprints on a global level?

In case anyone else has this problem, here is what found that fixed my problem.

Summary:
1. Index finger for domain A enrolled.
2. Domain was changed, profile for domain A deleted.
3. Tried to enroll same index finger for domain B. Fingerprint already enrolled error.
4. No fingerprints show up to delete in the settings because the computer is logged into domain B.

(How do you delete the old windows login fingerprint info so it can be enrolled in the new domain profile.)

Fortunately, my T60's software was set to convenience mode and not secure mode.

I found the Fingerprint reader Management Console from Lenovo's support site.

From there, you can, from the command prompt, list all fingerprint profiles and edit/delete them. You still need the password or fingerprint of the passport you are trying to edit, but I just wanted to get my prints corrected so that wasn't an issue.

I can now use my index finger to login! WooT.
