VGA to component adapter cable.. will this work?

I have a big Panasonic 42" plasma, but it doesn't have a VGA input!

I see that I can buy an adapter here

The TV supports 720p which is the maximum resolution I would pump through this. I am just wondering whether this has a hope of working or whether I should just save my money.

EDIT: I have a t60p 2007-8ju.
