integrated logon

A user had to change his password, and now he can't remember which questions he had to answer or how he answered them. But now his finger swipe does not perform the integrated logons. I'm new to this company, and this password change occurred before I got here, and this is my first pass at the thinkpads with biometric id's. I think that one of the questions was probably "do you want to synchronize your logins/passwords" or something of the sort. What is the path to get this user's passwords synchronized again?

Thanks in advance to the experts.

First, go to the Windows Control Panel/User Accounts and remove the Windows logon password. Then go to the ThinkVantage fingerprint software and (re)enroll the user. You will be prompted to create a Windows logon password, and when you do so the fingerprint enrollment will be associated with the new Windows password.
Good luck!

Is the fingerprint software named something I'll be able to identify easily, like "fingerprint software?"

bump; Is the finger print software called by that, and is it in Start>Programs, or do I need to access it elsewhere?
