Wireless router and Intel abg card

I'm thinking of upgrading from my old 802.11b router to a new 802.11g router. My t60 has an intel abg card in it, will any particular router work better? Or, should I just go with a good Linksys or Netgear router, but ignore all the special features like Linksys' Speedbooster?
