Suggestions for Thinkpad downloads to add to clean install?

I've bought a T60 to replace my T23 as my main soldier in the war of information. Since it came with the standard installation of four-thousand programs running in the taskbar, I gave it a nice fresh install.

Now, when I did this on my T23, I downloaded the programs from the Lenovo site to put the on-screen display for the volume buttons.

Two questions:

- Where do I find this for the T60? I've had a look around the Lenovo site, but it's not clear where it is.

- Also, what suggestions does anyone have for programs I should install from the Lenovo site? What are good things to install and why?

Looking forward to your thoughts!

Nick

I normally find the best way to setup my T43p was to install using vanilla xp (which it sounds like you've done) then install the software installer. This then figures out all the available updates for your hardware and lets you pick and choose.

Your other option is to go onto the lenovo website and then let the webiste detect your system, this will then show you 20+ different things you need to install :)
