I have a T60p and I'd like to swap my US keyboard for a UK keyboard.

Is this possible ?

Where do I find the part number and who do I order it from ?

Thanks...

Yes it is possible and very simple to do. There are 3 part numbers for UK keyboard available: 39T7142 (Alps), 39T7202 (Chicony), 39T0982 (NMB). Most people like NMB. You can get it from Lenovo directly, or from ebay, or ask for it in the marketplace here.

You have to remove the palmrest (4 screws in back) and remove the keyboard (1 screw). Here is a link to demo videos of how to change T60 parts:

You mean the video link I posted? A simple search for 'T60 movies' on the lenovo site lists it ... Or did I understand your question wrongly?

Ah, that. I searched for 'T60p parts' on lenovo website and it landed me here:

Typically, I usually first refer to the T60 Hardware Maintanence Manual (HMM). It is available here:

The HMM is the bible for all thinkpad questions :)
