An "unknown device" in the device manager

#1 Post by Ivan Ivankovic » Sun May 13, 2007 3:15 am

hi!

I own T60p 2007-YLX (with V5250 not X1300 like it says on the website).
After windows installation I installed all the drivers, but one is still "missing".
I have an "other devices"->"Uknown device"
what could that be? :/
Bluetooth, IR and WAN are disabled in BIOS....

I'll bet it's the security chip -- I had the same mystery a few days ago reinstalling Windows on a colleague's T60. Try installing the Thinkpad Client Security Solution.
Thinkpad T500 (P9500, 2.53GHz) with Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
8GB RAM, 256GB Lenovo (Samsung) SSD
Gobi 1000 wireless
Previous ThinkPads owned: T60p, T43, T40, R40, 360
