How setup 'middle' trackpoint button as 'middle' click?

When I try to configure the middle click, it only has scrolling or magnifying glass. I have a Firefox addon to allow vertical scrolling with right click, and want the other button to become middle click (to open new tabs and close tabs)

In trackpoint properties, you can choose between scrolling, magnifying glass, or neither. "Neither" would do what you want.
