Hey guys,

I am having a problem with my laptop LCDs screen brightness. (small problem, but it's annoying) I am running Vista Ultimate and have dual monitors setup. Everything runs perfect but every time I reboot the laptop the laptops screen defaults to the lowest brightness level. So I have to do Fn+Home every time to get the screen brightness up. I have messed with the power settings to no avail. It's set to max performance when plugged in. Anyone having the same problem or know of a fix?

A similar situation here with my Vista T60p. In my case, screen brightness drops to level 3 after a certain period (will try to see exactly how long), and I must manually restore brightness to level 7. My power properties have the system set for max brightness on both battery and AC power. I've updated the power software to no avail.
