i just wanna inform that its possible to touch the 7hours barrier with the t60 running vista... i'm using the 9cell battery in combination with the advance ultrabay battery and vista (aero working) but in battery saver modus...the wireless and bluetooth modules are of course off but it seems that even with vista the t60 can reach the battery performance of the x60s

RE:
yeah i was surprised too... i'm still working with the same charge i started to write my post, since then i was doing some web search stuff, brighnes ups and downs bcs of the sunlight and i still have three hours run time... perfect timing bcs the library is closing in three hours too:)haha
back to serious stuff...
well i've got the t60 with the radeon 1400 card inside my brightness level is changing between two and three but now i'm going to turn down to level one bcs the sunlight isn't that bright anymore and i can do my writing easier... like i mentioned already everything is switched off and the fingerprint is disabled bcs uses quite a lot energy too... as long your doing office working/writing stuff the drainage is really less... and i checked how many battery loading cycles i had till now since i've got my notebook.. i did this morning my 70th loading cycle...i think after changing my harddrive with the new samsungs and using a memory stick for speeding up windows i may get a bit more juice out of my system..
by the way the reason why i'm doing all this is i wanted to buy myself an x60s but when i ordered it lenovo couldn't deliver for over 2month and i needed it for university so i bought myself the t60..sometimes my mind is still with that one:) soo smalll but now i've got the bigger x60s which is definitivly a tick nicer
