Keyboard enter key on UK models

#1 Post by martinjco » Thu May 24, 2007 2:03 am

In most reviews and screenshots I have seen of T60s the keyboard has a single-row enter key with \ above, but on a couple of home user reviews the photos show a standard two-row enter key with \ next to left shift.

Why is this? Is one UK and one US, or is it the difference between the 3 brands of keyboard?

Thanks

There are different layouts for US and UK. Always has been. The pound symbol and possibly the EURO one have to be included there.

Not saying that's the difference you're seeing, just that they do have at least one different one for the UK.

French: two rows, and a bunch of extra formatting keys around the enter/shift.

UK layout (T41p) the " is above the 2 key, and the @ is above the ' key. The Enter, is two rows, inverted L-shape.
