I just noticed that the tabook says that the T61 comes with different power adapters depending on the graphics card. The version with the Nvidia Quadro NVS 140M card comes with a 90W adapter while the Intel GMA X3100 version has a 65W adapter.
Does anybody know the size and weight differences between these two adapters?

Go to
http://shop.lenovo.com/us/accessories/b ... -adapters/
Then click on Adapters - Lenovo 3000 & ThinkPad R60/T60/X60/Z60 (3) in the menu on the left.
0.57 and 0.79 lb.

Lenovo is offering both machines with 90W Adapter on their website as of this point. Technically 90W can do the job of 60W counterpart.

I think it was already the case with the T60. Mine has a 65W power adapter (GMA950) but I've seen some being shipped with 90W power adapters.
And as ryengineer just said, you can use the 90W one with any T60/T61 (or for that matter X60), but you should never ever have a Thinkpad plugged to a 65W when this TP needs more than 65W (it won't happen very often, but it can happen with a fully loaded TP, with a needy graphic card, and with the CPU being used at 100%)!

And the 90W recharges the battery faster
