I noticed in the HMM that they are differentiated by the actual palmrest bezel, so I'm thinking they aren't stickers, since those would probably have their own FRU, right?

Either way, I was looking at the stickers on eBay, and wondered if they might be OEM. Probably not, but if the logos on the TP are actually stickers, then they could be lifted up, rather than covered.

Just curious about this. If they are stickers, I might grab one of the IBM ones off eBay.

They are stickers that you can peel off.

Great!

That leaves two questions...

A. Why are they listing them separately as different parts, when just the sticker is different? I mean, in the past FRU/OPT numbers have been assigned to stickers, so why not here?

B. Are the stickers on eBay OEM? Again, I'd guess not, but if the originals are, maybe these fell off the back of a chinese truck?
