Hello,
Does anyone have recommendations for a GPU temperature monitor for a Thinkpad T60p /w ATI FireGL V5250? I've looked everywhere but I can't find one that works with this card. I've tried Rivatuner, ATI Tray Tools, and NHC, but none of them can detect the GPU temperature. Thanks for the help!

It works with my T60 with ATI X1400 gpu.
Here is a preview. FireGL is a modern chipset, I assume it should work with it as well.

I have the same machine/GPU. How is it that your GPU temp is 47*C. Did you do any cooling modification? What drivers are you running? Mine is constantly @ 71*C in TPFancontrol.

Harry, I don't use any cooling utilities, my T60 is all natural. My gpu temperature almost never tops over 65 degs C. I am strictly using lenovo provided ATI drivers.

Strange. I just got this laptop from Bill. Should I be concerned about 70plus *C idle temps on the GPU?

You shouldn't be. I have a 15.4'' Widescreen and these models are reported to be run cooler than standard ones. The reason honestly I don't know, I think they had modified something for their heatsinks or perhaps due to the fact they're more spacious.
