Re-image Hard disk on Thinkpad

I will be receiving a Hard disk replacement for my 3 week old T60p which shows "Read verification failed" while running Hard disk diagnostic program in BIOS utility. It also failed with error while running PC Doctor5.

How can I re - image my entire HDD to the new one without doing any additional installation of all softwares that are installed by me. Lenovo will be sending me Rescue and Recovery disks which only makes my system to Factory defaults.
