Thanks! I have found couple of model which looks like what i was looking for.

One more question. Is it possible to add wwan card later on to any t61 model or it has to come with the card ???
If i understand it correctly each provider supports their own cards, so if i would wont to connect with different provider i would need new card? right or wrong?

It seem to me that in current situation with providers its cheaper to stay in hotel with wlan when to sign up for wwan access )))

Thanks.

Adding the wwan will depend on whether or not the one that you get has Turbo Memory. My T61 7664-17U has 2gb regular ram, and 1gb Turbo ram....though, I am not really sure what it does....

Anyway, the turbo memory apparently takes up the same mini-pci slot that the wwan is in....so, if you system had the turbo memory, you could always remove it, and add the wwan...

and adding WWAN isn't a good idea if you're in Canada. I think it's for Verizon and i'm not sure if you can sign up with Telus up there with it. Maybe you can but i've only looked on the US site and not the CA site to see if they have different provider options (it would make sense if they did)

It's a sweet thing to have but on the other hand, $60/month for data for someone like me isn't worth it, i'm usually close to WiFi so i always just go there instead. I can get HSPDA from AT&T for cheaper because of my FAN discount but still i wouldn't get it for my laptop. I might however buy a HSPDA card oneday so i can stick my SIM card in it if i have to :)

There is pre-configured 7664-16U available through visaperks.ca for $1,499. If you can get it even cheaper, good for you!
