For everyone's benefit, I just received a new T60p with the a/b/g/n card. In my unit, the N antenna sticks out from the right side of the lid in the same manner as the WWAN antenna on those units. Therefore, I'm not sure how you might go about adding an N antenna until you purchase a new cover.

Thanks so much for this post. I was considering purchasing an N card, but this confirms that I won't be able to do so. I guess the only realistic route to go then may be either an expresscard or PCMCIA card N. Although I may just switch to gigabit ethernet and get REAL throughput.
