External Display Resolution for T60

I am considering the purchase of a 24" display with 1920 x 1200 resolution to use with a Avanced Mini Dock (250410U). I was told by a tech support rep that because I have the descrete video 128 MB video card the AMD will support hooking up to a LCD with a DVI connection. The T60 supports external resolutions of 1600 x 1200 (native on T60) & 2048 x 1656 per Lenovo tech rep.

Might anyone know is if an external display with 1920 x 1200 is supported. The rep told me I should make sure I get a display that could be returned. Might anyone have first hand knowledge on this topic?

I have a T60 with an ATI-1400 using a dock and the DVI output driving a Dell 2407WF (1900x1200) no problem.
