System reports wireless turned off in BIOS?

My T60p with VISTA 64 was running with the wireless on. A couple of hours later I looked at it and the wireless (Verizon EV-DO) was grayed out.

Looking into this, I found that both the WiFi and EV-DO (but not the bluetooth) are without power. The system does not even see the EV-DO card but it does see the WIFI card. Access connections does not see either one.

I tried toggling the wireless enable in the BIOS but that did not fix it. Is this something others have seen that can be fixed without sending it in?

might sound obvious but did you ever uninstall and reinstall the drivers?

I work in Rockville so if not i can take a look at for you tomorrow if you'd like :) Plus check it out too since i only have a T42 and never saw a T60 :)

Well, I am an idot. It kept telling me to slide the hardware switch. Not believing there was one, I just figured that was some software error.

There is a switch on the T60. On the front. Slide it and it kills the power to the wireless WiFi and WAN!
