2nd HDD in Ultrabay

Hi
I have a second hdd, and a caddy which works in a T42p.
Seems to fit into the Ultrabay (although it won't take a new hdd which I have specially purchased).
I am, however, unable to see the new drive. Any ideas?

I have attempted to search the Lenovo site, but they have cluttered it so that it is very difficult to sort the wood from the chaff.

Hello,

Have you formated your HD in administration tools ? If yes, after this, return in administration tools for attribut again a letter to this HD (I had the same problem with my T61) Now it's ok.

The T42 has I an ATA (Parallel PATA) at the Ultrabay and the T60 has a SATA (Seriel) connection. I have heard that the parallel drive bay from the T40 series will actually work in the T60 with a parallel hard drive in it.
