fresh install of XP on a T61 configured with Vista...

Hey,

I ordered my T61 with Vista and am now having second thoughts after some of the BSOD complaints I've read about.

Can anybody tell me how to do a fresh install of Windows XP on a system that is already configured with Vista. I realize it is probably more difficult than booting up with the Windows XP disc. If someone could please provide me with steps on how to do this correctly, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Everthing explained and should also apply to the latest models.

I think you should try to install new OS with Acronis Disk Director Suite. Remember to repartition your ThinkPad HDD in to two partition at least!
Good luck!
