I have a customer that says that they can't install the latest version of PGP Whole Disk Encryption on their T60s, because the program searches for HDD related programs before it installs. He says that it won't install because it keeps finding HDD Active Protection.
The customer says that when they tried to uninstall Active Protection, they get a BSOD. They've apparently tried this 3 times before giving up. They also said that turning the program off in control panel doesn't allow PGP to install.
I don't have one of the machines, so I haven't had a chance to play around with it... but any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
** This is apparently a new problem with the latest version. The older versions worked fine on the T60 series. I don't know what the version they're having problems with is though.
