SXGA+ screen compatibility

#1 Post by sugo » Mon Jun 18, 2007 9:48 am

Can I put the SXGA+ from a 14.1" T42 into a T60 that has 14.1" XGA LCD? Thanks.

well that second part should work no problem (just that you have the right cables and all that to go along with the screen.

The T60 just probably needed to have the cable changed as well as maybe the inverter to match the SXGA+ screen. The cable on a XGA screen is only single channel and you need double channel to get SXGA+ to work.
