Any optimizations for t60p to run games?
Any optimizations for t60p to run games?
I mostly do CAD work with this machine but I'd like to play a few games here and there. Does anyone have any recommendations for some optimizations that could improve gameplay but that I could easily revert back to when I want to resume CAD work? Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks.

Most games can run in 1024x768 with a lot of graphic details. FireGL V5200 is based on Radeon X1600 with lower clock speed. So, in desktop, it's still a mid-range graphic but for laptop, it's high grade. So don't worry, games will run fine.

If you're truly concerned about getting performance out of it, consider downloading some of the "tweaked" drivers--I am not 100% sure if they will run on FGL cards (although I don't see why not), but they run fine on my MRX700:

...just to name a few. These contain software-tweaks that, I've found, improve framerate by quite a justifiable amount!

What kinds of game are you looking at playing. I found the V5200 to be a very capable card able to play most older games at decently high res with everything turned on. If you're playing F.E.A.R. or something really recent then you gotta crank down to 1024x768 or 600x800 which still looks really good.
