T61 CPU upgraded successfully

Hello all,
just to mention to those who are tempted to do so, i just upgraded cpu on my 761 from T7300 to T7700 without any trouble

Used the hardware manual downloaded on Lenovo website and found out my way easily

used AS5, had to do it twice before finding the correct quantity to put, and had no issues at all

well, only option, wait for compatible motherboard to use it in a small pc....

How much did you get the 7700 for and from where?

Did difference did you see in speed? (and what applications do u run? )

not sur for the money, sure for the time
well about speed, STALKER runs a little smoother (looks like), windows boot a little quicker.
No other speed signficant improvment
i got this CPU from ingram France (I am from france) for about 380 euros HT
