Is Lenovo very sly (my T61 order)?

#1 Post by indiglo » Wed Jul 04, 2007 1:25 am

Hi, All thinkpad fans (include myself...)

I personally order a T61 (15.4" WSXGA+) on June 28 and get an estimated shipping date on July 31. However, I just got a news that my company will also provide us T61. Thus, I called Lenovo to cancel my order in this morning (July 3rd). And one guy just tell me, my order was canceled, but some information will shown up after 2 days.

Guess what... I received an order shipping out email at 4:33pm today. What a joke...

Difinitely, I don't need two T61. Does anyone has similar experience on these sorts of things?

Can I just return my personal ordered T61 without paying any restock and shipping fee?

Any suggest will be appreciated. Thanks very much.

Note from Moderator: There's a shipping sticky for this kind of question.

Call Lenovo customer service, tell them what happen, and return your laptop (do NOT open the box), and you may be able to avoid the restocking fee.
