T61 14" green LED to the right of the optical drive? Ba

What is this for? Power indicator? I would think the hinge mounted lgiths would indicate battery and power, so Im confused on what this green square light is.

Also, do the LED lights not change when the comp is off and fully charged? Just by looking at the laptop, i cant tell if its done charging or not.

The green square LED indicates something is connected in the Ultrabay.

when the battery is below i think 85% and charging it's Amber in color and when it's above that mark it turns green but flashes to indicate activity. Once it's fully charged it's a steady green color.
