WinDVD not activated?

I have a new T60p and just noticed that WinDVD wants to be activated, and requires a purchase to get a license key to do so.

Doesn't it come free with the unit? Am I missing something?

It's a limited trial version.

What WinDVD? The license that comes with your machine does not need activation (at least never has done for me). Even if re-installing, ThinkPads automatically activate. ... JDH

Yes, WinDVD was always included. However, looking at the Tabook just now, that does not appear to be the case any longer (at least with the T61). The following familiar programs appear to be missing (that were pre-installed on the T60).
1. Sonic RecordNOW!
2. Sonic DLA
3. WinDVD
4. WinDVD Creator
5. Symantec Client Security
