I noticed that on lenovos website when you compare t60 and t61 it says 65w and 36db for both.
Other places they speak of the t61 being cooler and quieter....
how does that add up..?
Does this mean that the higher specs of the T61 will offset its better cooling and noise reduvtion so the result in the end will be the same for both?
lenovo says 65w and 36 db for both t60 and t61
It probably just means that using the highly-artificial tests all manufacturers use to measure sound/temperature, both machines in the absolute best-case can achieve the same figures. But the T61 may "on average" be cooler and quieter.
