How do you purchase on Levono's site?

There are a lot of T61 configs on the TABOOK that I'd like to consider, but Lenovo's US site only has 5 or so base models that you can customize. I've played around and on some partner pages you can get a "Know your model number? search box" that lets you search for a particular model, but I can't find that on the standard US or Students/Alum site (not asking for restricted deals here, just trying to see available selection).

Is there a way to input a model number on the site, or if I call, will a CSR spec one out?

The best way to spec a model to your custom needs is to call a Rep. Not all models on the TABOOK are available on the website. I bought my T60 by calling a rep, he was really very helpful.

Thanks Gator. When you order through a rep, can they still apply discounts like sales, campus purchase prices, etc.?

I take it you also give up AmEx/Visa discounts and of course fatwallet cashback by going the CSR route?

Yes - I got a campus price on my T60.

I would guess so, but I am not sure on this.

AFAIK, it does apply in UK too. They sure do have reps there!
