Hi together.
Due to recent events i got a fortune to spend on a Computer + Peripherals.

I was thinking about getting a t61p when they come out but now i was alsow tempted by the thought of getting a dockingstation + 2 high end graphics cards and a decent screen to attach for when i am at home.
The plan is to have a powerful machine for when im on the road but also have a very decent gaming machine for when im at home. Will this work and will my setup be comparable to high end gaming pc's ?
Also what exactly do i need ? Do all GFX cards work with the docking station and will i axtually get a decent performance ?

Has anyone got experience with a similar set up or so ?

Some issues with your plan:
- the PCI-E slot in the advanced docking station is only 1x so your bandwidth to the rest of the system will be a lot less than the 16x slot used for the graphics card in most normal desktop motherboards
- there is only one PCI-E slot in the docking station, so why would you need 2 graphics cards?
- the slot only has room for a half-length PCI-E card, although some people have had success using an extension cable
