T61 with as many blue screens

Purchased a T61 3 weeks ago with Vista. Have not added software or hardware. Started showing a 'blue screen' occassionally.....now happens several times a day with total loss of data and prolonged restart. Occurs both on battery (common) and while plugged in (less common). Also slow to come out of sleep mode; occassionly have to hit the power button once to wake it up.
Must have happened 50 times....what happens at event #61?
Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks!

try running the system update app and then download the latest intel Turbo memory drivers from Intel's site. That seems to have fixed the BSOD problems.

Had that happen with my T43 when new. I was about to EZServ it. Solved the problem by reinstalling everything from the recovery partition (I actually restored by accident and cursed myself until I discovered it solved the problem).

What does the BSOD say?
To make the screen halt, do this:
Right Click My Computer > Properties > Advanced System settings> Under start up recovery-settings> Then uncheck automaically restart and press OK.
Next time you'll be able to read the blue screen.
Report back the error #.
Also check what the Event Viewer has to say about this error.
(Right click My computer>Manage>System Tools>Event Viewer)

FYI - Lenovo had pulled the Turbo Memory driver, and now reposted it.... SO the Lenovo wrapped Intel driver is most likely fixed now too.
