Disabling trackpoint's press-to-select.

I love the trackpoint, but now and then I will tap it when going for the 'g' or 'h' key.
That means 'press-to-select' (or whatever it's called) essentially clicks the cursor mouse wherever the mouse cursor is.
Normally it's annoying - it scrolls a page because that's where I left the mouse, or this morning I sent a half-finished email because it was hovering over 'Send'.
When I go to UltraNav Wizard, there doesn't seem to be any way to turn this off. I seem to remember there was on my 600X...?? Maybe I was dreaming.
Any suggestions (apart from typing more accurately)?
Thanks!
