Does fingerprint reader on ext. keyboard work in parallel?

I am planning to buy and attach an IBM keyboard with fingerprint reader as an external keyboard via advanced dock.

The question is, will the external fingerprint reader work in parallel with the reader on the T60p? Will the FP software accept the same fingerprints from both readers?
Current: T60p (2007-93G). Previous: T23 (2647-9LG).

Yes but you have to set the BIOS to use the ext. finger printer reader as first device. I have the same setup and no problems at all.
