How can I tell if the DVDRW drive on my T60P will read & write Dual-Layer DVDs? I can't find any information other than my base configuration on the Lenovo site.
Thanks,

Show me a modern DVD writer that can't read and write dual layer DVDs. I hope you're aware that most games and movies are on those type of discs.

Some "modern" DVD writers are not dual layer (DL). Yes, they can read DL disks but that does not necessarily mean that they can also write DL.

Do you have an FRU or model number for your drive?

The top-of-the-line X60 ($2400) i got last August came bundled with a docking station and optical that could NOT read nor write DL. i was peeved. The TAbook claimed it had DL. After many phone arguments and 3 months later, that puppy went back for 100% refund.
