External monitor issue

#1 Post by jdalton27 » Tue Jul 24, 2007 10:23 am

I have a T60p with the Advanced Mini Dock and an LG 19" wide monitor conncted through DVI.

When I come back to my computer and it is in screen saver or black screen, a box come on the screen that says "Enumerating display devices phase 1". Atleast 1 out of 3 times the external monitor goes dark as if it is not geting a signal.

When I go to the display settings, it does not even show/recognize the monitor. The only way to rectify is to put the computer in sleep mode and wake it up or let it go to the screen saver and hope that it works right when i come back.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Jeremy

There should be a hotfix adressing this issue. Try running System Update

I ran the system update and there were non found. I think the Fn + F7 may work. So, I'll try it the next time it happens.

Thanks for your response
