First post here. So bit of a newbie question...

I bought this T61 for myself with EPP & 10% off coupon last weekend from Lenovo website.....

INTEL CORE 2 DUO T7300
MS WIN VISTA HOME BASIC 32 bit
14.1WXGA+ TFT
INTEL GMA 960W/1394
512MB PC2-5300 667M
60 GB HDD,7200RPM
DVD REC 8X MAX DUAL Layer
4 CELL LI-ION BATTERY

Estimated ship date of 9/5/07. I already have new 2GB RAM from Fry's that I will install myself once the lappy arrives.

Paid $XXX after taxes. I was wondering if any of you knowledgeable folks can comment if this was a fair deal. Thank you for your comments.

Bought it for myself. I have always been a big fan of Thinkpads. I will use it to surf/kill time when I am on the couch as I am "watching" a chick flick on TV with my better half
