I use the wireless adapter almost exclusively. I also use the Ciso VPN client both at work and home. (My company seems to prefer layer3 security to the layer2 =/). Anyway every time I dock or undock the system cycles my wireless card which kills my tunnels requiring me to reconnect my VPN. This is extremely annoying. I've tried

Disabling power managment on the wireless card
Changing easy eject actions to do nothing
Disabling easy eject altogether

But still no luck. I'm not sure why Lenovo decided to "improve" the docking functionality since it worked great on my T42 on Winblows and Linux. Does anyone know if this is a Windoze only feature. If I switch to running Linux will it still be broken?

It is probably due to shift in HW-profiles when undocking and docking.

So if I use only one profile would that work? I never seemed to have this problem with my T42.

Try to copy the undocked profile over in a new profile. After that you can copy docked to undocked.

I have exactly the same problems.

Anyone know how to keep the wireless connections when you undock?
