T61p order or wait

I do not know what to believe as of now but lets go on the assumption that a 4:3 T61p is going to come out in the near future...

I am very interested in the T61p mainly for its graphics prowess, but do not know whether I should order now or hold off. I will be using the laptop for 3D CAD programs such as Maya and 3dMax and am wondering...
a.) do users of these programs prefer widescreen or standard?
b.) when will the 4:3 T61p come out
c.) how much extra will the 4:3 cost

I'm starting school Septmeber 20 and would ideally like the laptop before then (which means I order it mid august - latest?)

Well right now Lenovo has a sale, and on top coupons etc can be stacked for an extra 20% off.
