T61 turbo memory disabled?

Hello. I have a T61 with turbo memory. I have the latest driver (from Lenovo website 1.0.1.1004) installed but in device manager, it says that the "device cannot start" (the Intel Flash Cache Logic Chip). Also, when I open turbo memory console it says "disabled" for both readydrive/boost with 0 GB cache. I cannot click anything next to these items (grayed out). Can someone please help me? I know turbo memory has issues but even after installing drivers and rebooting, it shows "disabled". And the device manager says "cannot start (code 10)."
