I know under swtools, inside the factory install for the T61, there's a folder called "wallpaper" which contains the four Lenovo 1600x1200 jpegs. When i still had the factory installed version of Vista installed, there were the same Lenovo wallpapers but in different resolution ranges. I'm looking for the 1680x1050 wallpapers. Does anyone know which files (file name and location) within the factory install where i can find the 1680x1050 resolution wallpapers?

Edit: I got a tip that it's located under the Windows folder in the factory install. Is there an easy way to extract the files from the recovery media or the hidden partition on my hard drive?

Thanks Steve. I was actually looking for the one titled "Thinkdots" in 1680x1050 that came with the T61.

Probably doesn't exist.

Wouldn't be difficult to recreate it at a higher res, though.

Actually it does exist. The factory install had the four Lenovo wallpapers with different resolution size variations that the user was able to choose from. There was actually a 1680x1050 version of thinkdots.

A member from another board helped me resize the wallpaper, but there was just something about the original in 1680x1050.

Contains the highest res standard aspect ratio and wide screen aspect ratio default wallpapers from my T60p.

Choose the free download the option.

Go to this folder:

C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper\

You'll find all the wallpapers you need, including the Lenovo ones in 1680 * 1050.

Thanks. It works on my PC running XP. Now i just have to find the right imaging software to image my hard drive and reload the factory install to pull the files.

The problem is, I reformatted a blank Windows XP into my computer. I also deleted everything that comes with the original t60. So, if someone can upload the original t60 wallpapers (4:3 screen), that would be nice

or, someone can send me at mipra @ lautanmas.com

oo boy..thanks a lot. But, I have some requests:
1. Megaupload always gives me trouble by saying that the "slot for my country is used up, try later". Can you maybe upload in rapidshare?
2. I happen to have the 4:3 version. So, the widescreen doesnt really does the trick for me.

@pphilipko. Is that the original 1680x1050 Thinkdots wallpaper found in the factory install, or did you resize the wallpaper using the other resolution wallpapers? Thanks.

Yes, these are the original from Lenovo.
