Increase transmit power

Hi, my transmit power freeze on 25.1 mW and I can not increase it to 36 mW, already I can do, and I could connect to wireless network near my office. what's the problem?

If this is an internal card what will end up happening as you overdrive the RF section of your wireless card is you will have more distortion and can possibly kill the RF section of your wireless card. Increasing power output will also create more power consumption in the computer as well.
