SATA Hard Drive Bay Adapter

Hello.

I'm very interested in installing a second hard drive in my ThinkPad T60, and would like to know if it will appear in the system as a "normal" hard drive so you can install windows on it and dual boot it (windows xp on one drive and vista on the other)? And how is the speed of the multibay? Using two of the same hard drives, will I get the same performance on the drive placed in the multibay as the drive planced in the "normal bay"?

Thanks in advance.
