Hi,

I have T60p without WWAN. Tell me please where can i read something more spesific about it?
Is there cards for TP or i can integrate any card?
What about antenas?
Will it work with GSM operators?
Is there ani requirements?
Does it need some kind of support or you gust insert SIM card and thats it?

As you can see i dont know ehactely what i'm tolking about

Will be greateful for any information.

WWAN is Wireless Wide Area Network. You can find info on wikipedia i'm sure but there are 2 types for us here in the USA. CDMA - used by Verizon and Sprint and then the GSM version used by AT&T. I'm not sure what they have for your country or if the one for AT&T is already unlocked or can be unlocked but since you're over there you'd need the GSM version. If they have one for your country then you'll be all set. I"m sure there's some for o2 and Vodaphone and all that.

You would just have to buy the card, put it in your Mini-PCIe slot on the inside and get the WWAN antenna if yours doesn't have it already and you'll be all good to go.

A 3G WWAN card (a Sierra MC8755 PCI Express MiniCard) for use with Vodaphone HSDPA/UMTS networks is shown in some T6x models listed on the Lenovo Australia web site, such as the 6460-73M configuration.

I assume that this card would also be available from Lenovo in Europe.

It would need to be a multiband (tri-band or quad-band) GSM card to have any chance of working in Europe. The GSM bands commonly used in the US are rarely used in markets where GSM has been much longer established.

Most GSM phones now a days are at least tri-band and so have good global roaming capability, but that is rarely the case with GSM based data cards in my experience.
