The lowest I've seen Mobile meter report on my Thinkpad is
14.4x watts. Wifi on, BT off. CPU on adaptive. Brightness at lvl 0. Optical drive, IR, and Cardbus disabled. This is what happens when I have MS One Note open just typing away with Winamp running, I might be reading a big PDF (so it's all loaded to memory).
The average is 16-18 watts just surfing around, listening to music, Bittorrent in the background and chatting on MSN. Brightness on lvl 5 everything else same as above.
When it draws around 14.4x - 15.5x watts I can get about 5.5hours out of my system
With the system at 16-18 watts I can get about 4-4.5 hours.
If I add watching DVD I get about 3 hours brightness at 5.
Specs:
CoreDuo T2500, 2Gigs of Hynix (PC5400), Lenovo ABGN Wifi, 100Gig Seagate 7200.1, FireGL V5200, DVD-RW, 1400x1050 14.1 LCD.
Cycle Count: 18
Full Charge Capacity: 86.65Wh
Design Capacity: 84.24Wh
Manufacturer: SANYO
Manufacture Date: 2007-02-21
First used date: 2007-03
