What's up with bluetooth and logitech stuff?

#1 Post by miqsu » Tue Aug 14, 2007 12:36 am

Hi. This is my first post to this forum.

As soon as I got my T60, I wanted to connect Logitech Dinovo Edge and MX Revolution to my laptop's bluetooth, without using those adapters which came along. Everything went fine, even I noticed that I have to use MX with adapter, cause it has no connect-button.

Edge worked well. Until I had to re-install XP. After that, only my Logitech MX1000 mouse has been able to connect. Edge gives me the screen where it shows the security code, and I can type it, connection really works at this point.

Ok, when the connection is established and I'm typing the security code, bluetooth icon on Edge turns solid, not blinking. After few seconds, it turns off. Hourglass-mouse-icon tears my nerves apart, and at the end of minute long waiting, I'll get error message that connection couldn't be made. What??? I already had connection, and I'm sure I typed the security code correctly. About 1000 times.

What's wrong? I've installed BT drivers once again. I can connect all my devices with external USB-BT adapter...

(Sorry about my english, it's hopefully at least average and understandable :))

I'm using T43 and diNovo 2.0 myself. Since I reinstalled my XP a month ago I also haven't been able to connect mouse, mediapad and keyboard at the same time. Strange because before they worked fine...

Are you sure you're hitting the right button after typing the security code? If I remember right the button must be the Enter from the precise keyboard or mediapad.

Also don't try to get all them connected at once but boot after every succesful connection.

Btw what's up in Porvoo? Not many finns around here :|

So you can connect one at a time? Ok... So I should try to remove the pairing with MX1000, and try for example my Edge or Revolution... Hopefully I can get MX1000 paired again.

Actual problem is that I lost almost all my usb adapters. Only MX Revolution's isn't lost. Maybe I can buy only adapters from Logitech? Is it possible?

Nothing special here in Porvoo, thanks for asking :) Ootkos itse suomalainen?
